      Red face Signed up today

Got my BAND number e-mail yesterday, and phoned the 0800 number today - answered by a person after 30mins (about 7 pm)... all set up now for 2Mb base service - was told I should get user details in the post "in a couple of days"...

Let's see how long it really takes...

      Hi Dave

I hope everything goes smoothly for you and yep you did make the right choice as long as you don't exceed the 2gig a month usage that is

      2Mb limit

Thanks for the good wishes - I'm lucky enough to have two lines, with Pipex BB 2Mb-30Gb/mo already on the other one. SkyBB will be a useful backup, and I guess their 40 connection fee is really to cover the cost of the modem... I don't expect to exceed the 2Gb limit on the Sky BB line - only have gone over 2Gb/mo once or twice (so far) on the Pipex line...

Hmm - the BT Order Tracker now shows a new entry for last Friday: "CHANGE" to be actioned by 4th October, but when I click on "Details" I get:

"We weren't able to retrieve your order information. This could be a temporary system issue, please try again later."

I hope this doesn't herald any problems...

Wow - that was quick! The router arrived this morning - only signed up on Saturday. Now to see if there's any ADSL on my line yet - SamKnows now says it's on LLU - wasn't a few days ago, so we'll see...
