With that noise margine you may be capped, but DLM may still be running on your line. A call to Sky to run through slow speed check may get them to lift a cap if it is in place.

Usually Sky only put people on their ADSL2 that are capable of over 8Mb so it is unlikley you will be on it.

Ok thanks, if they have capped me, will they know what I am on about if I ring them up and be able to remove it?

just ask to be troubleshot for slow speed, they can then put you through to CST who will lift the cap if its in place. Before you call them though make sure that you are either on the main socket via a new filter or on the test socket if possible, this will help speed things up.

DLM runs for 10 days from day of activation, and puts your line on adsl2+...are you still within the first 10-days?

and even at the end of the 10-day training it's always running so it can re-adjust should you improve your setup...
