Just signed up to Sky BB - one quick question...

I am with Plus Net currently.
Last week contacted Sky and signed up to their Mid package.
Plus Net gave me a MAC code which I passed onto Sky.
My Sky activation is due to occur at the end of this week.

Quick question....because I used the MAC code given to me, will Plus Net automatically cancel my account or do I have to contact them to cancel it?

      cheers
      Colin

It is always better to advise them that you have left. Getting a MAC is not notice that you are leaving, in fact it would be against the regulations for them to cancel your account just because you have requested a MAC. You can use the Plusnet ticket system to give notice. It is also advisableto ask them to set up a PAYG Dial Up account. This keeps your account and emails open for 90 days(or more if you access it) which gives you plenty of time to change your address.
