Are these stats from the test socket? If not we need to see them, temember you have to remove the front of the master socket to reveal the test socket.

Do you have any extension sockets? or do you use any plug in extension leads?
When you are connected to the test socket (at the master with the faceplate removed) are all your other telephone sockets dead (no dial tone when you check with a phone)

If it is a cheapo telephone extension lead, that is probably your main problem. Plug direct into the Master socket and post your stats.

Re: Slow speeds please try and help

Could you try connecting a filter to the test socket and moving the router downstairs just to see what speed you would get without using the extension?

Re: Slow speeds please try and help

if u want u could call sky back ask for ur line to be taken off adsl2 inps to be set to auto and max delays set to 32 also ask what ur line should be getting according to pacman if ur line is syncing more than one Mb less that wat it says there they will have to get an ll5/ll4 for health check of tps assuming that your physical set up is fine

Re: Slow speeds please try and help

      hello all ,

Seen at the top of the page these line stats

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 2560 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 54 db 31 db
Noise Margin 3 db 14 db

The high line attenuation would cause the poor speed but with a snr as low as 3db i would be worried about the connection dropping off ,
I mean that is not much of a margin for noise spikes .
