You shoud be doing better than that nearer 7mb, you show Max as your package, I think you may be on the wrong one, maybe test speed or an odd BT package as has happened before.

How long have you been connected?

Well looking at those stats I would say that there is something wrong. With your attenuation of 47 you could get 7mbps, but you should be able to get for sure get 4-5mbps. But you have a low noise margin, suggesting a very noisy line. Plug you router into the test socket, instructions here: Sky User - Help and Support for Sky and Sky Broadband - How to test your Master Socket and post your stats again.

I would say the OP is probably on Connect and on the Home 500 package by mistake. A mistake that BT seem to have a habit of making. Check what package you are on by going to your Account details on your MySky page or phone Sky and ask if you are on Connect.

You should be showing a much higher noise margin, so do as suggested and plug into the Test socket when you phone Sky.

As isit me says, on connect wrong package. Call sky and say you have a slow connection explain the speeds 544/288, hopefully the agent will tell that you are on the wrong package and transfer you through to CST. Its usually the next day the package will be sorted.
