Re: Why Lie to us Sky??

I normally get around 5-6mb which I am not complaining about. What I am complaining about is these regular cut offs.
What router do you have? Netgear White, Netgear or Sagem Black?

Its very hard to tell you that Sky are not doing it on purpose, as you would probably think different, due to the problems you are experiencing.

Sky's Max is unrestricted, and Sky openly post on here, telling us to download as much as we want and hammer Max etc. If your line is suffering from losing sync, then that *could* just be at your end. As the weather gets colder at night, this could also cause loss of sync.

I have never experienced the symptoms that you are saying, apart from over Christmas last year, and as soon as January 6th came around, my issues disappeared, so it was obviously interference from Christmas lights or similar.

Your stats would help people possibly identify any issues, however, this would not be a guaranteed diagnosis.

Has anything changed your end at all? New hardware in the home etc etc?

Sorry I should have stated all this in my first post.

Taking a look at all the post's you made today. The only solution for you is to get your MAC code and leave Sky. Looks like they are really after you, they must have something against you.

I may be wrong, but the 798 could be DLM, which afaik was not running for existing customers. Maybe someone else could confirm?

What Is DLM? Everything you need to know.

      Hi Googleme

I am on wireless at the moment, through my laptop but I've never had the problems I had early happen to me before now. It's all new.
