Sky homepage and email
Im running IE on vista and was wondering if there is a way to have the sky homepage notify me if there is any new emails (like AOL does) or do I have to check the emails manually?

Re: Sky homepage and email
unfortunately not, I have asked Sky to accomodate this via the surveys but they just say they will let me know if they do anything . You just have to check manually im afraid, unless anyone else can point us in the right direction?

Re: Sky homepage and email
You could get yourself a gmail account and use a google sidebar gadget to notify you of you mail, or googles own notifier.
then foreward your Sky mail to gmail. Better still don't use the Sky mail and tranfer over to gmail completely.
PS I run gmail as a web application within Google Chrome just one click to open.

further to my last post, what i do is open my email account in a window, then i continue surfing using another tab, you can then keep an eye on your email tab to see if anything comes in.

Re: Sky homepage and email
You could also download your Sky email to a POP3 mail client like Outlook, Thunderbird or Outlook Express and the like. Set it up to it pops up a notification in your tray when you have a email and if you are using Thunderbird you will also get to see the first line of you email.
