      Rang sky, Bloke answered, couldnt understand him very well, Stated that I want my max delay ping lowered for online gaming ( as iv read other topics stating not to say anything about speed until that is done) and he bassicly said phone a private technition to fix it
      I said can you transfer me to tier 2 or CST and he just said "to do that you need a support ticket and I have nothing to help you with online games"
      WTF

      Gunna try again in a mo hopefully wont get someone as dippy, any advice to get him to send me 2 tier 2 or CST would be helpfull.

      Just Rang them Back and they wouldnt transfer me to CST due to there being no problem with the connection and they also wouldnt give me a support ticket, the member of staff this time actually logged the call and connected it to the account and talk me to ring again when there not as busy and then the member of staff who picks up my call next time will know to transfer me straight away, anyone had experiance like this?

      that aint acceptable if you have a slow connection they have to do something about it?... didnt they even troubleshoot you?..

      Nope,
      She just verified there was nothing wrong with the connection as such, and put me on hold for a minute to talk to her advisor and then came back saying no support ticket

      My pings are really bad aswell, I play on xbox live quite often but since last month its allmost unplayable, on pc I get pings of about 160+ and thats over ethernet

      Just ring and say I have a slow connection, they will go through the troubleshooting, then mention the Pings.

      There is no troubleshooting for High Ping Times (well there is, but we never take them through it)

      Basically, if the advisor had been trained correctly (the outsourcers aren't trained to deal with High ping times btw), they would have simply raised a ticket for you under the heading High Ping Times (yes, we actually have a heading for it now) and it would have been done automatically within 24 hours. You dont need to go through to CST at all, but if you really want to, phone after 1am, or just after 3pm. I guarantee those are the quietest times.

      i think i may of cursed myself as i said ive had 2 months of a solid 2.5mb connection then it went all the way down to 224kbps last night!!... so i restarted the router and its come back to norm!

      werid!

      anyway yeah thanks indefatigable now we know approx a good time to call
