      Full username and account infomation

      Hi

Just a very quick question i am trying to help someone setup his internet at home, he is using his sagem box but he cant connect successfully to our servers at work.

He has founda netgear router which he now is trying out.He found out some logon information which he said was correct but is this correct or should be longer. Where would the router account information normally be held?

      username: first_name
      password: ************

Does the user name not contain a domain after it?

Can you also please confirm what are all the other settings for the router of DG834N.

      Thanks

      Like encapsulation, things like that.

      Thanks

Re: Full username and account infomation

The username/password have to be extracted from the router, they are not the ones supplied in the letter from Sky. Your best bet would be to browse this section where you will find all the information you need to set up a 3rd party router.
