    changing router

      changing router

      i know that changing from the netgear router sky provides to a new one is tricky at times.
      to do this do i go to the routers page while im currently running the netgear router and get the mac code and network key?
      what do i need to do? ive got a belkin i want to use

      why do you want to use the belkin? what does it offer that's better than the Sky router?

      The belkin probably isnt the way to go. Netgear would always be better, but you could think about a different netgear one.

      Hypothetically, as it is against the T & Cs, if you wanted to use another router you would first go here - https://www.cm9.net/skypass/ to get your username and password. Then read Non-Sky Router Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) make a note of the other settings you need, apply them to the other router and that's all there is to it.
