      okay, can you confirm:

      - you are connected via ethernet and not wireless
      - the router is plugged into the TEST socket underneath the master socket faceplate
      - you have done a speedtest on at least 3 different speed test sites
      - you have tried downloading a large file to see how that performs (like Download details: Flight Simulator X Trial Version)
      - you have ran the TCP optimiser

      Re: BT 2 blame?

      okay,

      - have you tried another PC/Laptop on the connection
      - have you got any other bandwidth hungry apps running (like P2P, iPlayer etc)

It's not BT/Sky as the router is reporting that you are getting top speed and have a very healthy noise margin so you can't shout at them I'm afraid. The problem 99.99% looks to be on your side of things.

      Re: BT 2 blame?

i suppose the only thing left it could be is a broken router, but doubtful.

Are you able to try another router?

      Re: BT 2 blame?

so you're saying when you first reboot the router, the download speed tests hit aroun 14Mb, but then it gets slower and slower as time goes on?

Someone could be stealing your bandwidth if you have switched off wireless protection.

      Re: BT 2 blame?

do you still have the white one? If so hook it up and then using MelsNotes (search skyuser) post up your FULL DETAILED router stats so we can see what CRC errors are there.
