    Router/Phone line Issue

      Router/Phone line Issue

      I think I have a problem with my connection but im not sure if my router is the cause or my phone line, basically when the router is connected to the phone via the filter my phone line does not work, but when I take it out the phone line does work, it looks to me like tohe router has packed in and is causeing problems to the phone line, has anyone else had this problem? or does anyone know what I need to do to solve it?

      it's usually the dsl cable between router and filter so if you have a sare give it a try...

      or swap the filter, does the phone work with no dsl and just the filter? try with a new unused filter to see if the same result occurs
