      Help with Sky Broadband connection dropping

      For a while now my connection has been dropping, the router sems to be working fine but quite a few times throughout the day if i am running a few webpages they all just say "page cannot be displayed". When refreshed i get the same message and eventually after a few refreshes it will work.

      Also things like YouTube videos take an age to load and my torrents are mostly slow as well as the UDP port error.

      Can someone help me as its really annoying.

      Need more information.

      What way are you connecting? Wireless? Ethernet?
      Physical setup?
      Router stats?

      I am connecting with an ethernet cable. Router is right next to pc

      Do you need anything else from me?

      Really annoying me, internet just stopped working and when i unplug and then plug the power cable back into the router everything works fine.

      So when the connection locks up, you just power cycle the router and all is fine?

      Yeah seems to be the quickest way to fix it, sometimes the problem fixes itself but can take ages.

      Yeah seems to be the quickest way to fix it, sometimes the problem fixes itself but can take ages. Ive changed the DNS using open DNS on the connection as i can't seem to find it on the router (prolly cause sky has it all locked out) dosen't seem to have changed anything.

      Does the connection get slow at a certain time, and speed up at a certain time ?
