      Cancellation within 8 days

I've this evening requested my MAC within the 8 working days since activation.

Unbelievably (or perhaps believably) the guy that I spoke to in cancellations did not know what the case is regarding payment for this little while I've been connected.

Does anyone know if I will be charged anything for the period used, and also whether the 25 activation fee is refunded?

You should be allowed a cooling off period, I think. Did they provide all the Hardware & activate the service? If they did not then you have the right to cancel without any penalties.
