    Have sky screwed my line settings

      HELP !

      Im still getting this silly NM Level of 2147483646 db then 0, 1, 2, 3 and on up to around 14 but it goes up and down all over the place even though Sky have capped me at 3072 kbps. This must point to an actual line fault mustn't it ?

      If it is a line fault, you will need to get Sky to pass this on to Openreach (BT) in order for them to investigate.
      Sky will prob want to try a new router first. Have you checked the line for noise with a normal wired phone at the test socket?.

      As mentioned before your upstream seems to be the problem.
      Seems to be something screwing it up.

      Perhaps a used but unfiltered phone socket.
