      Maybe you should ring Sky again if you are still having issues.

      still having exactley the same issues.
      modem is syncing up nicley
      geting error of CHAP authentication failed.
      As I suspected this is not an exchange fault.......
      Why did 1st and second line ignore me when I told them this in my very long and fruitless phone call yesterday?

      whose hand do you need to cross with silver to get some support?

      Frustrated with the support service....usual internet is fantastic....when its up

      you need to go to CST - they have access to the radius logs and can run your MAC through the checker...if it comes up as suspended then there's your problem...

      it could be that your router is actually linked to someone else's account and they've not paid their bill for example...you'd be surprised how often it happens

      its beyond a joke now.
      they have messed around woith the line and cut the sync speed by 50% and closed the case saying they can see I am synked at 4000.
      great I asked them to check the RADIUS logs and gave them my mac address etc but nothing. Now I how a lazy connection speed and still cant log on.

      Please someone help me I am losing the will here, I need net access to be able to work from home and my pregnant wife needs access to keep in contact with friends and family as due date was today so communication is key.

      HELP!!!!!!

      you NEED TO SPEAK TO CST, ON THE PHONE, and they (and ONLY they) can tell you if your router is suspended...NOT tier 1...
