LOST BB CONNECTION (no internet light on router)

Hi , I am desperate ... pls help if you can

My BB worked fine for about 1 month but one day died on me .

Done with sky tech support all possible tests in my house including pluging 2different routers on the test socket but no adsl light.

      - the problem was escaleted to sky third level , they contacted BT to do some changes at the exchange and the day after my phone was dead!!

Bt have rectified that but I am back to square 1

sky support wont help me untill the pstn fault is cleared ( i phone BT many many times an they assured me it has been cleard on their system )

sky and BT are now blaming each other both denying there is a fault on their side .
The worst part is that they do not talk to each other ..... I have to call them

      I am speechless..

IF BT's system says Sky can't log a fault - there's nothing Sky can do...

absolutely, you need BT retail to get BT openreach to close the open fault on your line. In fact you can check if such a fault exists by going here

      www2.bt.com/faults

Select the "Think you have a fault?" option on the left hand side and enter your phone number, it will tell you if there is an existing fault or one that has existed within the past 14 days

Well there should be, not having a go at you, just the "system". Its wrong that a customer suffers because 2 companies cant sort their communications out.

Its bt retail who have the fault on their systems.
Sky can ask Openreach to check if there is a fault but afaik i dont think openreach can close the fault because it is bt retail who have to sort it.

Theres been many times iv contacted Openreach and they say that eu has to contact bt to close it because bt retail may still be working on the fault.
