I have a strong suspicion that DLM was never fully turned off at least for some unlucky customers. That certainly seemed to be so in my case. I have no evidence for that theory of course, just my own personal experience which may have been unique to me.

DLM was turned off - doesn't mean lines weren't left on adsl2+...if you don't call in, Sky don't know!!

but I can categorically tell you all now - DLM IS NOT ACTIVE AT PRESENT...

      Re: Sky Broadband stability

I started on ADSL2+ and stayed on it - for over two years without problem.

DLM for me was a cap of around half a meg, an increase in upstream to 796kbps and regular disconnections/resyncs, mostly in the early hours but also in the day. That continued for nearly four weeks, took a break for three (when DLM was supposedly turned off) then started again.

Can't disagree with you though that DLM is not currently active as I no longer have SkyBB so have no current experience.
