      lucky you got the speed back, i have been battling with SKY on this problem, I am getting 5% of bandwidth at night time.........see my thread Slow connection only at night

      Is there really a cap on Connect? to 5% of the bandwidth? That's rediculous....

      Yes there is a cap on Connect, there is also traffic shaping that is implemented and controlled at the BT end of the system. Connect is not Sky, Connect is a rebranded BT service that Sky off if they have not got their own equipment in your exchange.
