      Router needs restarting

I'm on sky's mid range package and i regularly get speeds of 500kbps. when i restart the sky netgear router i get speeds of 3-6 mbps. at the moment i'm restarting the router every day.

      any ideas why this happens?

i could restart the router everytime i want to get online but i'd rather not!

      Re: Router needs restarting

You'll need to post your physical setup (any extensions, are you on the main socket etc) and a set of stats from the router(download, upload, attenuation, SNR etc). If you are not in the main socket take a second set from there or if you have a test socket take a second set from there for comparison.
