      Rotating IP Addresses

      Since Fri Night I have had the IP addresses: 90.196.23.49, 90.200.94.119, 90.200.94.15, 90.196.23.86, 90.196.23.114 and possibly a few more.

      Is this normal on Sky as it appears to happen at random, i.e. the router isn't being turned off, it just seems to hang for 20 to 30 seconds then reconnects. This is a nuisance when it happens if gaming as you can imagine.

      It's not hanging, its rebooting/ resynching on the line which would point to issues with your connection or setup. Are you on the main socket, filters in place where needed? If you post your router stats (attenuation, SNR, noise level, upstream and downstream) we may be able to tell you what is happening.

      It's in the main socket with microfilter fitted. There is one extension for the phone line . It, ironically, is in the bedroom and is ONLY used for the sky box there. There is a microfilter there too.

      Do you have a hidden test socket on the main socket? If so a set of comparison stats from that could be useful.
