      Backup Router

Having just joined sky broadband on a DG934 (which works fine) would like to have a standby router, just in case. Having tried setting up a DG834 using the normal mehtod with no luck. Do sky use the mac address of the router to i.d. my connection. Any ideas much appreciated.

      Re: Backup Router

You will need to extract the Adsl Username/password from your sky
router first, have a look here http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/extra...-safe-way.html.

Once you have done that you just setup up the DG834 like any other
      UK adsl service.

Don't get confused with the user/pass you got from Sky thats only
for the email service on sky.com.
