      Re: speed issue

I think you are getting confused, your speedtest.net result above is expressed in kB/ps, convert this to kbps and it will be about 1900kbps. This is pretty good for a connection speed of just over 2200kbps.

Torrents, as I am sure you are aware, depend basiccally on the number uploading. If there are a lot, with few downloading, then you will get a fast speed. Torrent or P2P are not an accurate way to measure download speed, to get a good idea you must use a fast server, such as MS or even Virgin.

Your profile says that you are on Max, which means your exchange has been upgraded, so you are unlikely to get any more speed from Sky. Your very high attenuation indicates that you are a long way from your exchange, the only way you will get more is to move closer to the exchange. There is no use shouting at Sky or this Forum because you have a long phone line.

Note - When downloading always select the Custom install or you will end up with stuff you don't want.

      Very True.
There isn't much sky can do about this.

There will be new cabling rolled out soon as far as I know... something nice to look forward to.
