      well next time u log into the skyuser website and click on a topic run netstat or tcp/ip viewer u'll see what im on about

      ok mate cheers for yer help but like i say i dont understand why im seeing connections to xxxxxxxx.bb.sky.com:http every time i open a application such as internet explorer or mozilla firefox ive been with sky broadband since may last year and only seen this in last few days

      Sorry didnt mean it to come across that way lol.

      One thing you can try is by changing your DNS servers to see if this changes anything. There is a tutorial on how to do this in the tutorials section
