    using the telephone whilst on broadband

      Smile using the telephone whilst on broadband

      I have just set up my broadband wireless router, but can't get my telephone to work there is no dialling tone and no one can ring in either what should i do?

      How are you connected to the line at the moment? If you are in the main socket and the filter is the first thing attached to the tel socket you only need to plug the phone into the tel side of the filter unit. Do you get dial tone when only the phone is in the socket (no filter or router plugged in)?
