      Slow Slow Slow Slow!!!!!

      after recieving my bb router, fitting all the filters etc and my activation date passed im recieving a connection of 1/4 of a mb instead of aprox 8mb sky have done tests and everyting is fine, the exchange is fine my line is fine the router is fine. they passed it onto teir 3 but ive been advised this could take 2 days to call me back!!! SKY ARE CLUELESS!!!! could anyone please help me, has anyone had these problems? please reply to this thread and to my email golspy661@hotmail.com

      slow slow slow!!!

      my stats are as follows on the site sky gets you to goto 192.168.0.1 to check stats my router the following info is displayed

      the guy from sky advised this was totaly not right but cant help me anymore as its been sent to tier 3 tech support. i live bout 500 yards from my bt exchange and everything is working with them. please help if you can.

      Sorry not them stats if you look at the bottom of the page you got them from you will see a button thats says Show Statistics those are the stats that are needed.

      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      With that attenuation you should definately be syncing much higher than that!

      slow slow slow!!!

      im ment to be on the 8mb connection, i live so close to the exchange i can see it!! just wish sky had an answer!! they say they are great how the offer a great broadband speed. beter no say what i really think lol. just cant belive sky are being so cluless over this matter. im averaging a download of 24kbs wich is crap! my 10mb ntl was 780kbs when downloading files so im expecting around the 500kbs mark.
