Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream

Line Attenuation 19 db 4 db
Noise Margin 2147483646 db 10 db
This just indicates that your noise margin has dropped so low the connection has dropped. You would probably be better off being slightly capped. Have you checked that your internal wiring is OK by checking the stats in your Test socket?

Is It Me, I dunno what's happened...I've not called Sky in any way.

The broadband has been great since 11am. No drop outs.

But now my stats from router are:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 15326 kbps 617 kbps
Line Attenuation 20 db 4 db
Noise Margin 7 db 8 db

Does this indicate that someone has capped me slightly at SKYto settle my connection into a safer territory, without me prompting them?

I don't think so. I think it just means your router has re-synced at a more sustainable speed. Keep an eye on it for a few days, see if it remains stable.

Looks like this lower sync....is as just as unstable as when it first started going amber over 24hours ago.

The 13meg is not stable either. Sky say there isn't anything wrong at my exchange. I'm being put thru to CST.

Maybe a Mod will move your posts to a more relevant section. This one is really just for speed results.
