      Unhappy How To Connect?

      Hi,

I ordered Sky+ and Braodband on the 11th Sept, had the box installed last week (it doesn't work properly, but that's another story).

Am still waiting for my broadband modem ( I was told it would take 5 days).
I know that my BT line has been activated, as the activation date was the 20th, and I've called up BT's tag removal service to check that I've no tag on my line. I have a Netgear Router DG834G, and was wondering if anyone knew how I could use it to connect, whilst I was waiting for my Sky Modem.

I've been calling up Sky every day, and was told that technical support can do it, but then they said they can't ... i even just spoken to some call centre lackey who said that the service hasn't even started yet!

      would aprreciate any help.

      Pavan

      ps.
I'm using an iMac G3 running OS X 10.4, Ethernet, but no wireless.

I am sorry to say but you are in the same boat as quite a few of our members active line no router and there is nothing anyone can do to help as you are required by SkyBB T&C's to use there router, So sorry to say its a waiting game.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Angry

      OK Thanks.

I guess I'll just have to wait.
It's unbelievable, I just spoke to customer relations, who said that they haven't even got a modem order for my address!

      :-(
