Coulour Coded Ethernet Connections

Hi,

I haven't been able to find any posts on this, but does anyone know what the colour coded ethernet connections are for? Does it matter which I use as I am connecting a PC, XBox and Playstation3 using CAT5 cables?

The cables are just standard ethernet cables to connect equipment to the lan ports of the router. The yellow ports on the router all do the same job.
