send talk talk an email and keep it stored on pc, even send a letter by snail mail, wouldn't trust a phone request, a friend of mine was put onto tt phone line even though she refused to change from BT, the first she knew was when her BT broadband went dead, phoned bt who said she had transfered to tt, no contract was signed and tt refused to cancel as the 14 days were up, BT had to cut tt off the line and reconnected her back up

      so watch TT

The problem with taking phone rental with TT and other LLU operators is that if they transfer you to their LLU, you broadband connection with Sky is stuffed as your line will no longer be compatible. This applies to other ISPs who use the BT exchange equipment as well, such as Plusnet. Changing your phone provider is not a problem provided the supplier is not 'Unbundled'.

Thanks for the heads-up nodrog. With that in mind, i think i'll possibly do all three - cant hurt anything. I will ask for a letter of confirnation, or email, afterwards as well.

Phoned Bt this morning, and they've put a note on our account, basically saying that if TT try to take over the line, to refuse it.
