      Sky max BB speed decrease

Hey guys, was just wandering if anyone has the same problem as me which is that my download connection speed has decreased dramatically over this weekend from constant 8-9 MB down to 2mb. I have been with sky BB for over a year now and have never experienced this problem before so any help/info would be appreciated. Also i live in london so i'm never too far away from my exchange so i usually get a good speed.

As anyone would say, router stats would give a better picture of what is going on. Have you contacted sky yet to see if you are on DLM and if your speed has been capped? If they yes to both etc then ask them to uncap you.

      yup, thats them.

Looking at them there is little reason why you wouldnt get a higher sync. Only reason I can think of is being capped due to DLM or someone capping you.

I would say DLM. Why oh why can't Sky advise users when their line is going to undergo training. Emails are free so it would not cost them anything but a few moments man time. It probably costs them more handling support calls due to it being applied without warning.

If you really want to use your sky.com account at some point you can password reset your sky.com account via the sign in link on sky.com, just click the "forgotten my password" link and give the answer to the question it asks.
