broadband disconnects when i run azureus

ok im new on hear and have only recently switched to sky max from bt total broadband. i have read countless posts about disconnecting but i am at my wits end with getting disconnected everytime i want to use azureus. from what i have read about line strenght and atenuation i have a fairly solid connection. ok well onto the setup:

i have a sagem sky router the little black digibox design one, with 2 machines
connected wirelessly. They are less than 10 feet away from the box and both are connected at 48Mbps with a very good signal strength.

here are the simple stats from the router admin page:

System Up Time: 76:03:45

Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
WAN PPPoA 660740 866582 0 78 199 10:45:20
LAN 23 0 0 0 0 76:03:45
WLAN 5671034 4308443 0 259 92 76:03:24
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 13087 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 32.5 db 14.9 db
Noise Margin 7.8 db 14.5 db

now the system is running fine atm, but when i start azureus and start downloading it disconnects both machines from the network. now im not sure if it is the speeds at which im downloading, or the setup within azureus. i get fantastic download speeds, some files in excess of 400K but normally each aroung 200 - 250..please someone help its driving me nuts, great speeds but still takes me days to download files due to disconnection, thanks

Try connecting via ethernet lead and see what happens.

You may have a problem with the wireless side of things which is causing the connection to drop under load. The easiest way to test this is to connect with a long ethernet lead and try downloading again.

Either that or can you move the computer to the router to test?

I had similar problems when using wireless. You could try different channels.

If your not able to do these things I don't see how anyone can help diagnose the problem.

Remember that things chage, someone else may be using the same channel to you, you could be picking interference up from anywhere. Also your not using the same router as when you were with BT.
