      Talking A question about bandwidth

      hi,

i recently got sky max broadband (love it 800kb/s in internet explorer some times 1mb/s) but i want to know the actually limit.

i download quite a bit and surf about 1gb (per day) is this ok or should i reduce?

i checked the broadband faq and it mentioned 250gb is that correct?
not bad for max, my phone line can only take 8mb.

You should have no problems with those figures, as far as I am aware, nobody has yet been stopped from downloading the internet

If you hit 10x that amount month in and month out you may get contacted.

      Re: A question about bandwidth

The unconfirmed limit for max is 250 gig.
There are plenty of free bandwidth monitors around, I used to use :-
Tautology Bandwidth Meter - Internet Traffic Usage Monitor
But a google search will turn up many others.
Bear in mind that this only measures the usage of the pc it is installed on, so if you have other pc's connected to the router they will need to be monitored as well.

Not well up on consoles, but I wouldnt have thought so unless you can dl movie content / game demo's etc like you can with xbox / ps3.
