    Unable to Order Skybroadband

      Unable to Order Skybroadband

      I have been trying since the june 4th to order sky BB but if i try either via online or over the phone it fails at the final stage. Sky inform me there is a "glitch" on my account and a manual form has been submitted to the appropriate team to escalte this. They will call me when the issue is fixed.

      There is no way to contact this "team" as they are not customer facing.
      When ever i call CS they are unable to chase or even get an update or even a rough idea of how long i will have to wait.


      Any suggestions for getting this issue moved along quicker would be much appreicaited. As Ive made my mind up im not waiting forever... im waiting till i get back of holiday mid sept if its not sorted by then i will be spending my hard earned cash with another ISP.

      Try getting through to Customer Relations, they may be able to help. CST can do nothing until your line is actually connected. There is another user on the forum with a similar problem. Can't put my finger on the post at the moment.

      Cheers for that... however the trouble is how do they go ahead and connect my line without the ability to actually add the item to my account.... i.e. they try to order Sky BB and it fails(errors) at final step due to "glitch". a gr8 catch 22 situation.

      Customer Relations is a different office from CST, they may be able to look into your problem and find a solution. The last number I have for CR is 08702403000, but this may have changed, maybe someone will confirm. They seem to change numbers like a child's nappies.

      Spoke with Sky CR on 08702403000 who have re tried to order Sky BB for me and the system has

      allowed it. WIll wait the 10 day period and see what happens.
