Thank you for your reply. The thing is when i was in UK, I was sold sky by a sky salesman in a shoppinng centre saying that after installation of sky in your current home in Leeds, You can take the dish and box with you in Romania. You can keep on paying sky by direct debit and there is no problem. As you have just explained me the situation now, i am bit worried becasue i really didnt know that this leagal issue can come in the middle.Thank you any way for your kind information and making me aware, i am now going to contact sky on 084 number to get this problem resolved.

You have been told a lie unfortunately, which is not unknown for shopping mall sellers, some of whom will say anything for a sale. You can take the dish and box with you in Romania.

All Change for contacting Sky??
Commercial organisations will soon be prohibited from using 084 and 087 prefixes for customer service lines.
Article 21 of Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights states “Member States shall ensure that where the trader operates a telephone line for the purpose of contacting him by telephone in relation to the contract concluded, the consumer, when contacting the trader is not bound to pay more than the basic rate”.
The government intends to enact the directive during 2012, earlier than originally scheduled because of the urgency with which it wishes to enact Article 19 concerning credit and debit card surcharges. See http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/...64:0088:EN:PDFLWNEDG
