      Sky LLU availability

      Hi,

I'm on the Sunderland exchange NESU and i have bee with NILDRAM for many years, indeed I was one one of the first Rate Adaptive ADSL subscribers.

I am a fair distance from the exchange.

I'm thinking about switching to Sky , and SamKnows indicates that the exchange is SKY LLU enabled.

When I spoke to Sky they advised that expected speed would be 3.5Mb , which is pretty much what I get now.

I'm not an expert on LLU issues and SKY products.

Does this suggest that I'll be on th e LLU service, and is the speed likely to improve at some point ?

Is the speed from LLU service still depend on distance from exchange ?

      Thanks

      Re: Sky LLU availability

      Hi

Whatever speed you are on now with ADSL / ADSL Max, should be the same if not better on Sky's LLU.

If you can order Base, Mid or Max, it would be LLU, Connect would be on a rebadged BT product.

Is the speed from LLU service still depend on distance from exchange ?
      Yes.
