My ports open and close randomly

      Hey,

I've noticed that sometimes my ports (any pretty much) will work but then it will just stop.

I've ran the portfoward guide to sort it out on my router (which hasn't worked).

None of my downloads have been affected (from http) however using my torrent provider (utorrent) 9/10 my ports are shut.

Im running a sagem 2504 modem and have just installed a new wireless adapter (due to wg111t causing system freeze ups).

      Im running Windows Xp Pro - SP3 / Sagem 2504 router / BlueNexy Wireless adapter - BN-WD54G)

I would really like to sort this problem out, perhaps someone could talk to me on msn and help it that way?

there are ports on the router as well as on ur pc if the ports on the router are open and the ports on ur pc are closed then it sounds like a firewall on the pc.

there is a firewall then, if you try uninstalling it that would unblock all ports the firewall has already blocked, or you could try setting up a dmz (not a gd idea to do tht tho)
