      Broadband Question

      Hi All

New to this Forum and so far looks great!

I currently have Sky Broadband at my parents house as part of the whole package. I am moving to my new house which has a BT Line activated and working.

Is it possible for me to bring my Sky Internet Wireless Box to my new house and hope it works??!!

      Thanks

      Re: Broadband Question

As you are going to a new address in your case you would have to open a new account in your name and with your new phone number. You will then need to receive a new router etc.

I would rather just close the account and start fresh!!!

      Re: Broadband Question

Try transferring the name to your parents name, and then. They can put you forward for a refer a friend offer, possibly.

      Re: Broadband Question

i agree, heres a step by step plan but remember when calling sky use SAYNOTO0870.COM - Non-Geographical Alternative Telephone Numbers to get a landline or 0800 number.

1)tell sky that you are moving out and transfer the account into your parents name.
2)get your parents to reccomend you as a friend and get a free sky box or cheap hd box or whatever.
3)enjoy your free box or whatever you get
