      Welcome to the site Robs_2711

If log into the router and get the stats we should have some idea of what your line is capable of.

If you are not sure how to do this login clicking on this link

      http://192.168.0.1 A little box will pop-up
      the default username/password is admin/sky
then you will be on the Router Status page look at the bottom and you will see a button Show Statistics click on that and a pop-up window will give you all the info you need.

With that attenuation you should be getting a much better sync speed.

First thing to try would be a router reboot (unplug it, leave a few seconds then plug back in) - probably won't help but worth a try. Then if still low connection I think you might have to call Sky. You'll need to persevere and try and get through to technical.

Damn thats very good Line Attenuation you should be going like a bat out of hell, I would call SkyBB and speak to Tech Support and explain to them whats going on they should pass your concerns to the right people and get it sorted.

Great - only another 20 reboots and you'll have a decent speed!

Actually, it's still not right. I'd be inclined to leave it a day or two (do a few reboots in that time) then if it is still less than 12000 - 14000 then call Sky.

9:00 any morning (especially Sunday) is a good time to call apparently. By 5 past 9 the phones are melting!
