    Moved House

    This is a discussion on Moved House within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Does this mean i get a new router and new account, ie: user name and Password etc. Just wandering because ...

      Exclamation Moved House

      Does this mean i get a new router and new account, ie: user name and Password etc. Just wandering because i had the normal welcome letter today and it did make me wonder if you start all over again even though i have been with them for over 15 months??

      When I moved, I took the old router etc. with me.

      Everything worked fine. Nothing changed. If your line has been setup correctly, all you should do is to plug in and away you go.

      Your User Name and password should be unaffected.

      On a house move, normally you use the previous router, although Sky seem to send a letter mentioning they will send you one soon. Two people I know have moved, had the letter, and no router arrived.

      Yea thats what happened up to now. Just hope it,s the same as that as keeping same email etc.
