      Problem with Broadband Max

Hey, We have just recieved and setup our broadband max package but can't seem to get the computer to run the internet. Rung the helpline and they said it could be that the router is faulty or it's the fact that it is connected to an extension port. Since this I can pick up the wireless signal on my laptop and Wii but still cannot get the internet on the main computer?? Also the speedtest is running at about 5000kb/s which for B/B max is extremely low!
Can anyone offer any advice because I'm not amazing with computers and am fairly stuck!
      Thanks
      Rob

      Re: Problem with Broadband Max

Plug the router into your master socket.
Power it up and have a look at the indicator lights, the internet light (the one that looks like a candle) should be showing solid green with the odd flicker. If its yellow and flashing it has not connected, if its solid yellow it has locked on to the broadband signal but has not logged in.
How are you connecting your main computer?
