hi all newbie here is there anyway of changing the ip address as i have registered a friend on a website on another mates broadband and now they want to go on the site as well but it keeps saying user registered on this ip address so failing changin it i will have to find another way ..

If they are on Sky, just switch the router off for a few minutes. It should obtain a different one on resynching with Sky BB.

tried that still logs the ip address ..as in use on the website

Just keep doing it until you get a different IP.
