      Activated yesterday....

Activated yesterday and all seems OK. Up and running in about 10mins. Didn't use the Sky CD - changed the router settings manually using info from this forum - changed router IP to match my network / fixed ips / changed some of the wireless settings etc. - Thanks guys.

Not brilliant but better than adslMAX with F2S!

Is there a 10 day "training" period with LLU, like with standard adslMAX? Will my speed get better, or do I need to try the various tweeks mentioned elsewhere in the forum, change faceplate etc etc?

I'll be happy with a stable connection, rather than more speed at the end of the day. Anything will be better than the BT adslMAX I had before! I'm about 1.5miles from the exchange so would have thought it would be better than 2 meg. Anyway.... early days.

      For info:

      Ordered 5th Sept
Router came within a couple of days
      Activation date 20th Sept
      Actually connected 20th Sept

Keep up the good work with the forum

      Cheers

      Andy

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
