    Can't connect to www.virginmobile.com

      Can't connect to www.virginmobile.com

      Hi folks, the problem's in the title of this thread!

      I've been using Sky BB Max for nearly a year now with no significant issues. However, about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I tried to see the Virgin Mobile website to check my bill and I got the standard "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error.

      I've always been able to see this website (as any site) but I've tried it regularly ever since and still get the same error.

      This is the only website I seemingly can't see - everything else is ok!

      Anyone else having the same problem?

      I'm going to tell Sky about it but thought I'd check on here first if it's a known problem.

      I know Sky and Virgin are fierce competitors, but surely Sky aren't blocking my access to Virgin websites??

      Working for me fine, and I don't recall anyone mentioning this recently.

      I know VM had an issue with their website this week, as in it went offline for a period, but that shouldn't stop this one.

      Works fine for me using Firefox 3 and internet Explorer but it redirects to this page.
      I am however using OpenDns rather than Sky's shoddy Dns service.

      Really? Now that does surprise me NR, must explain why you're always up till 3am-waiting for web pages to load!

      lol - I always swap and change them with OpenDNS and also swap my routers over, just so I get a feeling of issues etc.

      As for 3am - I think I am an Owl or something. An Owl that drinks Stella and eats Pizza.

      Tried your link, Lager Lout, and it safely took me to the home page of VM where it lets you select which country you're from, but when I click UK, I get the usual error!

      I have been using VM UK for years! What's going on??

      Not sure what stats you'd like to see. When I ping the site I just get "Request timed out."

      My stats from the Netgear page seem ok. ie no blocked sites or keywords etc.

      If there's anything in particular that I need to check, please tell me.

      I hadn't gone any further than that page, but clicking on United Kingdom I then get this page.
