What you have said about some of them caring about the job is very true. The problem for employers, is that hardly anyone (ok some do) walks into an interview and says I don't care about customer service, but I need a job!
Once you hire someone, it is not that easy to get rid of them, you need documented proof and if they get past there probationary period you need to go through disciplinary procedures.

Plus those who don't care know enough to try and hide it from there bosses!

I'd ring every 10 minutes until you get through to someone who actually sounds like they care and not like a robot. Persistance, luck and pestering is what got me my router.

If I hadn't, hand on heart I still don't believe I would have had my router even today.
