Switching to Sky - break in service?

I'm due to connect to Sky Broadband Max on Monday 7th, moving from BT Broadband. Received my router today and am all set.

However, I'm concerned by the 'Track Your Order' status message on Sky's website:

Your order is progressing fine, but we've had a huge response to Sky Broadband, so you may need to wait up to three working days from your estimated activation date before you can start surfing with Sky Broadband. The estimated date is: 07/07/2008
Might I really be without an internet connection for three days? Keen to hear other user's experiences.

By the way, I've also checked the progress of my line going over via BT.com
and that confirms the 7th of July date.

The changeover will take place on the same day. So effectively if Sky is three days late, the disconnection will be from your old ISP.

Normal downtime between the old connection and the Sky one will be about an hour tops.

I think Sky include that message just to cover their own backs but most people will change over on the date listed on the BT order tracker website, mine did this. The only break in service will be when the change happens and then all you need to do is plug in your sky router and it should be off you go.
