      The broadbands fine, sky just said they can't take the line rental until 12 months with bt. Will have to phone sky up again.

      Just spoke to sky, they still don't want to give me any offers at all, do they not want me to move? 80 with sky, 68 with vigrin

      i wouldnt bother if they are gonna be like tht virgins probs faster.. on broadband

      Yes, but there customer service is terrible. We had no internet for a week, and got so many different excuses.

      sky are alright but not much better

      We have been with Virgin ex-telewest for 10 years, and recently we have had lots of problems, virgin just cancel engineers and make up excuses. We have sent an complaint in, there website says 48 hours, email says within 3 days for a reply and it was sent on Sunday...

      omg...they have got worse then...

      because ntl was a decent company..

      dont blame you really

      well u are ment to have a phone line for a sky box but you dont need one only if you wanna use red button and stuff like that and if you get multiroom you need a phone line but what i recommend is that you phone virgin say that you wanna port your number to bt then arrange it with bt the virgin should give you a code to quote to bt they will port your number.. they when thats done order sky..

      thats what you have to do if you wanna still go sky

      but i mean i haggled with sky lately because i wanted a sky + box they said 159 i said no i want it 99 or im leaving so the guy said no im afraid 159 so i said well im afraid im gonna leave sky then and he went can i put you on hold so he did then 5 mins later he came back saying we can offer 99

      sky dont care about existing customers..

      but as your a new one they should be all over you trying to get your custom..

      i really dont understand

      im pay 50 quid atm for sky tv 2 mixs and sky sports , sky multiroom and sky broadband!

      Yea, Telewest was a decent company as well. We would need the phone line for the broadband, as thats the main issue we are having with virgin at the moment. No matter what I said, bearing in mine I phoned up yesturday as well, they said thats the price and thats all they can do. I said can't you match it, he said no. I said I will have to stay with virgin then, and he was like, yes you will. I either have bad luck trying to get a deal or they just don't want a new client?
