      Angry Speed has just dropped DRAMATICALLY

      Normally, i get around 5,500kbps download and 650kbps Upload

      same for me too - the last 20 minutes or so.

      was on youtube and took ages for vids to load. general surfing slowed too - although there were moments here and there where the speed seemed OK

      i rebooted router and also laptop (it did a few windows updates)

      glad its not just me - sky broadband must be doing something!??!

      speed seems to be OK now

      i have been having problems since friday night with my sky connection, its been all over the place, i have another thread going Slow d/l speed / high latency...please help!

      i am also in manchester so maybe its not just me and is a BT problem across the city?

      as i just posted on my other thread, i had no issues last night until 21.00, then went from speed test results of 6.5mbps to 0.5 and below.

      waiting for a call back from Sky tech support.

      i was told there IS work going on on certain exchanges, but not mine (stockport and crumpsall i think she said).
