      Re: Sky BB problem

Improving your internal wiring is the first thing you should do. If you have a look around the forum you will see that dozens of users have come on here complaining about this and that, only to find that their own wiring was the main cause of their problems or their BT line was faulty. Before anyone jumps in and says that Sky is to blame, in some cases I know they are, but 9 times out of 10, it is down to the users wiring or set up. The message is, use an ADSL faceplate whenever you can and plug the router direct into it. Considering the low cost of Sky BB, a bit extra expense improving your wiring is money well spent.

Well look at this! I bought myself a Belkin Wireless G+Desktop Card, and after a few mins I get these wornderfull results.
      I'm happy now.

I'm still thinking if i should downgrade to base package, since I'm not getting over 2MB, though the reason I'm with Mid Package is due to the 40GM monthly limit. So the question is: Should I downgrade?

A massive thanks for all the support, I don't know what I would do without you lot.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but a wireless adapter will make no difference to the download speed of the router. I still think you are on DLM and your speed will fluctuate. Your NM shows that you could get quite a bit more out of it. If your speed does not improve within a few days, call Sky and ask for your line to be manually graded.
