Unhappy Is Sky limiting my speed?

Hi, first time posting so here goes ,

I'm on the Broadband Max and the past couple of days my connection speeds have dropped drastically.

Connection Speed 3072 kbps 412 kbps
Line Attenuation 49.0 db 29.7 db
Noise Margin 11.7 db 22.5 db
I would normally have over 5,000 downstream and 786 kbps upstream but has dropped while keeping the same noise margin which I have some familiarity with (I know anything over 7.0 should be fine - otherwise connection drops and packet loss will happen) is fine.

The first thing that came to mind was the proposed 'fair use policy' on the Max package but i'm not quite sure what actually qualifies as 'fair use'. I'd usually average 300-400GB combined download and upload and haven't had any trouble in the past - what actually qualifies as 'excessive downloading/uploading' ? According to their policy which I just scanned over they'll contact me via email if there's any problem but I can't get through to my Sky email account and can't remember which email address I used to sign up to Sky.

Any input would be appreciated, maybe this is just a temporary problem at my exchange - thanks.

could you post your detailed stats (you can use mels notes here, scroll down the page and you will see a button for detailed stats ) would you then be able to do a reboot of the router and post the basic router stats

If it's just changed out of the blue it's more than likely going to be related to the first phase of dynamic line management: basically a new system to find the most stable rate your line can handle. It'll fluctuate for between 5 and 20 days and you'll hopefully see it back up to where it was before.

The bad news is that when the DLM is in progress the line can't be touched, so if you're considering making a phonecall just ask about the DLM status and hope for the best.
"Is your router definately plugged into the master telephone socket, sir?"
"YES! SO WHY CAN'T I DO MY WIRELESS?"
"How far away from the router are you?"
      "I'M IN SPAIN"
      True story.

The 412 upstream would indicate that of DLM.

^Best just leave the router alone the DLM might reduce your speed even more.

Thanks for the replies, it sounds like it could be DLM but here's the detailed stats anyway if they show anything different.
